For many Americans, the emblematic events of 9/11, Katrina and Guantánamo raise many larger issues for the U.S. and societies abroad. This session looks at challenges and practices arising when museums present recent history from multiple perspectives, allowing audiences to grapple with the meaning of events and help shape how contemporary history is remembered.
