PRE-REGISTRATION REQUIRED Discover the newly installed galleries of sculpture, paintings, stained glass and decorative arts from about 1150-1600 at the J. Paul Getty Museum at the Getty Center, and learn how this re-installation marks a departure from the earlier typological arrangement. The new, thematic organization integrates objects from across the collection, includes interactive computers and highlights a recently acquired collection of stained glass. Representatives from the re-installation team (including a curator, an educator, a designer, a media developer and a conservator) will share their perspectives on the project. Event will include behind-the-scenes tours. Bus departs the Convention Center West Entrance at 1:15 P.M. and returns to the Convention Center at 4:00 P.M.
