This On-site Insight has bee moved to Tuesday, May 25 from 1-5 P.M. Join colleagues from the Japanese American National Museum and the International Coalition of Sites of Conscience for a practical look at how to engage young people in discussion, debate and action around sensitive historical and contemporary issues. The program will include: a tour of the "Fighting for Democracy" exhibit, which focuses on seven ordinary citizens whose lives and communities were forever changed by World War II; participation in a dialogue program looking at stereotypes, designed for high school audiences; and discussion on strategies for implementing programs to encourage visitor action. Bus departs the Convention Center West Entrance at 12:45 P.M. and returns to the Convention Center at 5:00 P.M.
